FIRE VIXEN PALETTE REVIEW

Thursday 24 August 2017

I was in Superdrug looking for a new moisturiser, which I didn't get but I saw the Fire Vixen palette by MUA Cosmetics and plopped it into my basket and went straight to the checkout. For £5, this palette is my new favourite go to, perfect for this autumn and is an absolute bargain.

I saw a few of the new pro palettes from MUA but this one called to me. It spoke to me on another level. All of the eyeshadows are pigmented and look gorgeous on the eyelid. We have a few shimmer shades & matte shades they are very buttery shades too! I was so impressed at how buttery they felt.

I found them really blendable and buildable and if you are one of the bloggers that didn't get Urban Decays Naked Heat palette then this one is probably a good dupe for it. With its fiery tones of rose golds, bronze, light greys and reds it's on trend with the current palettes out there on the market from the highest to lowest price points.

This palette has 15 shades for playing around with and combinations are endless. I kinda wish these palettes had shade names but I'm very excited to wear a lot of these shades this autumn as well as the last days of summer. I've always been a fan of MUA and bought a few of their palettes in the past, it's lovely to see brands evolve.

PROS

♥ Pigmented
♥ Affordable
♥ Formula
♥ Long Lasting
♥ Blendable
♥ Cruelty Free

CONS

✖ Sells out quickly
 Packaging is quite boring

  1. I'd certainly love to see a makeup look that you've created with this palette, Jessica! Your photos are gorgeous and I am impressed by the pigmentation of your swatches! I always wish that MUA products had names as well, they're always so much easier to talk about / identify if they're named! Ah well!

  6. I absolutely love MUA for eyeshadow palettes, they are so unbelievably affordable with such amazing pigment! I prefer my Burning Embers palette over a lot of my high end ones and that was only £8 for so many amazing shades! This one looks gorgeous, would love to see some looks with it :)

  7. I have two of the Naked palette dupes that MUA did and they are actually pretty decent! I think MUA is quite underrated for a drugstore brand
